Our development and grounds committee were hard at work this Sunday morning. A small group of our members worked through Sunday morning to spread sand and soil across all the boundary areas to prepare for seeding.

This was necessary to tidy up the grounds before the onset of winter weather. It will allow the edge of our grounds to be seeded for grass and will give a much nicer finish but will also prevent puddles and muck around the ground over the winter.

Big thanks to club chairman Jorge Correia for providing the coffees at tea break !. Also to one of our village who came back from her walk to surprise the merry band of workers with coffee vouchers for shells!. A lovely gesture thst sums up our communities.

Thanks to seamus Gilligan who provided the heavy machinery with his monster tractor.
