The Football Association of Ireland is currently engaged in consultations across our sport that will shape the future of our game and provide the key information as we finalise the FAI STRATEGY 2022-2025 which we hope to launch early in the New Year. As we continue to celebrate our Centenary year, we believe we are embarking on a new and exciting chapter for Irish football and I hope you agree that it is our joint responsibility to build a sport and an Association that is united, fit-for-purpose, resilient and relevant for the next 100 years.
The FAI first presented it's directional Strategic Plan to the Irish football community at our Annual General Meeting on July 25th, 2021 and the directional Strategic Plan can be found here. At this meeting a commitment was made to consult widely with all Irish football stakeholders, via a variety of consultation formats, in order to offer them a platform to share their views on the work to be undertaken by the Association in the next four years.
In conjunction with our ongoing discussions across the country, in person and online, we hope to gather the views of as many members of the football community as possible and as such, we would invite written submissions from you and all stakeholders to support the ongoing consultation process. An online written submission portal has been set up on the FAI website and can be accessed by clicking here.
You may have received an email in relation to an online strategy survey on the future of Irish football in recent weeks also, this has been circulated widely and is another important aspect of our consultation.
Thank you for your interest in our future and, hopefully, your participation. We would be delighted to hear your views on the future of our game and we will take them into consideration when finalising our FAI STRATEGY 2022-2025, please share this email with anyone within your club who would like to make a further contribution.
